Family, AFL and photography are my three passions.
I have a gorgeous family and they are also crazy about AFL; playing, umpiring, managing ...and screaming from the sidelines. As a dad, over the years, I have also been an AFL Youth Coach and Sports Trainer.
I started photography in my early 20's (a long time ago now), in the days of shooting film and studied art and design in Teacher's College.
Around this time, I worked in a dynamic Public Relations unit, with the daily buzz of press conferences, producing public exhibitions, promotional materials and presenting regional exhibitions. This has strongly influenced my eye for powerful images, impacting design and relating with people.
Projects included the Sydney Harbour Bridge South East Pylon Lookout exhibition, The Bradfield Engineering Students Awards and the Roads & Traffic Authority Exhibition at the Royal Agricultural Society Easter Show.
With the transition to digital photography, I'm even more excited about photography. More recently, I have completed the Diploma in Photography at the Photography Institute Sydney. To keep up with this technology I have completed further studies in photoshop (digital darkroom), colour management and journalism.
But I find the greatest part of photography is working with people... the many fabulous clients I have met over the years. And photographing their unique character and personality.
I love taking time to discover what they really want, working with their ideas, adding a splash of spontaneity and creativity on the day, to produce photographic art they love and want to show their friends. There is a magic of creating photographic stories and memories about people and life celebrations that will last beyond our lifetimes...
Looking forward to meeting you.
